Role: Patent Attorney - Mechatronics
Location: Milan, Italy
The Firm:
We are partnered with a law firm in Italy, specialising in industrial and intellectual property.
They offer professional services for the drafting and filing of patent, utility model, design, and trademark applications. The firm handles applications filed with the EPO, EUIPO, WIPO, and the Italian Patent and Trademark Office, collaborating with foreign correspondents for local national applications.
The Role:
We are seeking a seeking a Patent Attorney with a technical background in mechatronics, to join their team in Milan.
The successful candidate with have a degree in Engineering or other related scientific disciplines, experience drafting patent applications and prosecuting in Italy and abroad, and experience drafting patentability, validity, and FTO opinions.
Requirements:




- UIBM qualification (mandatory)
- Degree in Engineering or related scientific faculties
- High written and oral communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
- Ability to work in a team and independently but collaboratively
- Experience using specialised databases and collaborating with international correspondents is an advantage.
