With a substantial pipeline of hyperscale and colocation developments currently under construction, the business continues to expand its commercial team and is seeking an experienced M&E; Quantity Surveyor for a major data centre project in Milan, Italy.
The Role: M&E; Quantity SurveyorThis is a senior commercial role responsible for the financial management of mechanical and electrical packages on a large-scale data centre project.
Working closely with the Project Director, Commercial Lead, Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors, and client representatives,
you will take ownership of procurement, cost control, subcontract management, valuations, claims, and final accounts throughout the project lifecycle.
The successful M&E; Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in protecting project profitability while ensuring accurate commercial reporting and contract administration from procurement through to final account.
Must Have Requirements
- Must have 7+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector.
- Experience with a main contractor, general contractor, or M&E; contractor is required.
- Proven experience managing mechanical and electrical packages on large-scale construction projects.
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
- Strong commercial, contractual, and financial management experience.
