What you'll be doing
As our Software Engineer III, Backend - Consumer Wealth Domain, you’ll be the person who plays a key role in building and operating the backend services that enable millions of users to grow and manage their savings and investments seamlessly. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:
- Own the Feature Lifecycle – Design, build, test, and operate backend services for savings and investment products—from initial technical design to production—using Java, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL.
- Build Scalable Wealth Products – Develop and maintain core functionalities like the "Invested Money Box", automated savings goals, and investment portfolios,
ensuring high reliability and transactional consistency.
- Master a Modern Tech Stack – Take ownership of our AWS-based infrastructure (EC2/ECS, S3, Lambda, Kinesis) and contribute to architectural improvements to ensure smooth integration across wealth-related microservices.
- Work in an AI-Powered Environment – Leverage AI tools daily to write and optimize code, speed up root cause analysis, and generate documentation, raising the bar for engineering efficiency.
- Solve Complex Financial Problems – Turn financial requirements into scalable technical solutions, balancing delivery speed with the extreme precision required by wealth management systems.
- Collaborate & Lead Quality – Work cross-functionally with Product and UX teams while actively contributing to code reviews, post-mortems, and refactoring initiatives to promote engineering best practices.
