Business Development Manager

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Drive business development in Italy: identify, qualify, and acquire new business opportunities and new markets
- Act as product expert for passive components
- Enable and support distributor FAEs and sales teams through joint visits, technical consulting, and local commercial support
- Deliver technical product trainings to distributors and FAE community, highlighting technological trends and USPs of push products
- Coordinate and manage design‑in activities at end customers in partnership with distributors, ensure project follow‑up and conversion
- Understand customer requirements (commercial and technical), nurture relationships, and provide solution‑oriented advice
- Maintain and establish long‑term relationships with distributors and end customers while ensuring open communication with internal stakeholders
- Monitor competitors and perform market analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Success is measured by demand creation, project generation, and POS growth in the region
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Academic degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable technical qualification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales‑driven role or engineering position with customer interaction
- Strong technical knowledge (ideally for passive components) and enthusiasm for technology
- Solid commercial understanding and ability to combine technical depth with business
- Solution‑oriented, customer‑focused, proactive, and accountable working style
- Excellent networking and presentation skills
- Proficient in MS Office, experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
- Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel (approx. 40%), valid driving license required
