ABOUT THE ROLE
The Environmental Services Housekeeper plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe,



and welcoming environment for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This position supports the organization's mission by ensuring that residential, medical, and common areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and dignity.
This role directly contributes to the health, comfort, and quality of life of the individuals we serve.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, offices, medical areas, and common areas according to established schedules and procedures
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, and replenishing supplies
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize restroom and bathing areas, including sinks, tubs/showers, toilets, mirrors, floors, and fixtures
- Remove soiled linens for laundering and replace with clean linens as needed
- Collect, remove, and properly dispose of trash; clean
