YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using PHP and Laravel, taking full ownership of the process from architecture and design to deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement
- Build and enhance intuitive and user-friendly front‑end features using Vue.js and Vuetify, collaborating closely with the Product Owner to deliver polished, accessible and high‑performance user experiences
- Design, model and optimise data storage solutions across PostgreSQL and MongoDB, ensuring efficient schema design, indexing strategies and query performance as the platform scales
- Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure (including EC2 and S3) and on‑premises environments to ensure reliability, security and consistent deployment processes across all systems
- Promote clean architecture and SOLID principles throughout the codebase to contribute to code quality, through peer reviews, technical discussions and the implementation of best practices
- Advocate for a Test‑Driven Development (TDD) approach by creating comprehensive unit,



integration and end‑to‑end tests to ensure system stability and enable frequent, reliable releases
- Identify, analyse and resolve performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges in application code and infrastructure to proactively drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate actively in sprint planning, design workshops and retrospectives, while mentoring junior developers and contributing to the evolution of engineering standards and best practices

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Solid hands‑on experience with PHP and Laravel, including Eloquent ORM, queues, service providers, and the development of clean, maintainable, and testable code
- Strong front‑end development experience with Vue.js; experience with Vuetify or a similar component framework is highly desirable
- Good working knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoD
