Job Description
Within the Global Engineering & Supply Chain Tendering department, you will develop process design, sizing and costing of plant systems during the proposal phase of international Waste to Energy EPC projects.
- Prepare heat & mass balances, process flow diagrams, and performance guarantees in close collaboration with Chief Engineers.
- Optimise system integration to drive cost competitiveness and coordinate interfaces with various disciplines (process engineering, electrical & control, layout, steel structure, civil, construction, procurement, logistics).
- Review contract specifications, identify project risks and opportunities, participate in technical clarification and negotiation meetings with customers and partners.
- Calculate the budget for the engineering and procurement scope of supply, support the preparation of requests for quotations for critical equipment and analyse offers received from suppliers.
- Compile the offer documentation, deviations, bill of quantities, electrical consumption list, etc.
- Handover successful tenders to the project execution team.
- Actively participate in maintaining tendering know-how, tools, templates, and seek to implement lessons learned from executed projects.
