BIOS and FW Development Lead

- Develop and debug UEFI-based firmware (BIOS) to support product and technology development goals.
- Manage BIOS feature development, including issue tracking, investigation, and bug fixes.
- Debug complex firmware issues across the stack.
- Follow customer-specific coding standards and participate in code review processes.
- Collaborate with teams to bring up systems, validate platforms, and evaluation issues.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in the role
- C/C++ programming skills; scripting experience in Bash, Python and PowerShell.
- Understanding of AMI Aptio V and EDK2 development, and industry-standard specifications such as UEFI and ACPI.
- Expertise in embedded platform interfaces, including PCIe, USB, SPI, SMBus,
UART, and Ethernet controllers.
- Debugging and problem-solving skills across HW/FW/SW boundaries, with collaboration across hardware teams.
- Understanding of system security features, including: Secure and verified boot, Firmware signing, TPM/ROT and SPDM, Vulnerability management and large-scale system hardening
