Business Development - Commercial Manager
In this Role you will manage and grow strategic client relationships within Swift’s payments and market infrastructures ecosystem. You will work with medium-sized financial institutions and industry players to understand needs, shape account plans, and drive adoption of Swift solutions. You’ll collaborate across product, operations, and marketing to deliver integrated, customer-centric experiences while contributing to strategic industry initiatives. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to influence cross-border payments transformation and support Swift’s mission to move value securely and efficiently.
- Manage and grow customer relationships with assigned financial institutions and market infrastructures
- Develop and execute customer account plans and support infrastructure initiatives
- Drive customer engagement and adoption of Swift products and strategic initiatives
- Serve as primary contact for assigned customers and ensure timely issue resolution
- Promote Swift's strategy and value proposition in meetings and industry events




- Collaborate with product, customer success, operations, marketing and other teams
- Generate market intelligence and strategic insights to shape commercial strategy
- Support strategic industry initiatives including ISO 20022 adoption and cross-border transformation
- Build knowledge of payments, market infrastructures, and Swift solutions to identify growth opportunities
- Foster knowledge sharing and teamwork to strengthen capabilities
- Proven experience (3 years minimum) as a Relationship Manager in payments/banking/financial industry
- Strong understanding of financial markets and payments business
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships based on trust and integrity
- Ability to discuss at strategic level
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilitie
