The University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria (UlCOMP) Neurology Department is seeking a board certified or board‑eligible Neurology physician for a full‑time position as a University Neuro Oncologist. The role will work jointly with OSF Healthcare to initiate a clinical program to provide clinical care and research, with potential fellowship development. The position is at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor or Professor.
The candidate will join UICOMP’s Neurology group as core faculty, providing inpatient clinical services at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center (SFMC), teaching medical students and residents, conducting research and QI programs, and performing typical faculty duties such as committee work, curriculum development, and administrative responsibilities.

Position Summary
Initiate a program to provide clinical care and research in Neuro‑Oncology.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach medical students and residents in the Neurology department on inpatient teaching rounds
- Provide clinical services for patients hospitalized in OSF Saint Francis Medical Center (SFMC)
- Organize and conduct research and QI programs as desired
- Perform other duties of a university faculty member, including committee assignments, curriculum development, student and resident mentoring, and administrative opportunities
- Participate in special projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
- Eligible for licensure in Illinois
- Board certified or eligible in Neurology
- Successful completion of fellowship in Neuro Oncology
- MD/DO degree
