An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced Medical Director to join Alfasigma for the UK & Ireland affiliate. This role will report to the Country Head, UKIE and is a key member of the Leadership Team.
The Country Medical Director, UK & Ireland will develop, lead and manage the Medical Affairs team in the UK & Ireland, driving medical strategy and disease awareness. The Country Medical Director works to execute the global medical operational plans locally working in partnership with the local cross functional and UK&IE; Leadership Team. They will also play a key role within the Global Medical Affairs Team (GMAT).
Your role Lead and develop the UK & Ireland Medical Affairs function as final medical signatory, ensuring delivery of high-quality, patient-centred medical strategy and operations while maintaining robust medical governance and compliance standards.
Partner with Heads of Therapeutic Areas, Legal, Compliance, and Quality to align Global resources with regional strategies and ensure ethical engagement between regional medical personnel and external stakeholders.
