About your role
The purpose of this role is to partner with the Head of the EMEA South Region Business and the EMEA Chief Marketing Officer (both based in Italy) to provide high-quality strategic and financial insights, advice and challenge. The South region covers Italy, Iberia and Latin America. The role holder will also assist the Head of Business Finance, EMEA distribution, in supporting the achievement of the strategy and goals of the business.
Key elements of the role include
- Business partnering with the key senior members of the EMEA South Region and Marketing teams. This will involve the development of a broad understanding of the Fidelity business model and a deep understanding of all aspects of asset management, especially sales, retention,
product & propositions development & management, including all financial drivers.
- Building credibility through the provision of clearly presented financial information, constructive challenge and valued advice, supporting the goal of delivering real value and influence over decision making within this critical part of the business.
- Developing the South region business strategy and plans in the context of the Global strategy, ensuring that it is founded in robust financial analysis and narrative. Agree guardrails upfront with stakeholders in relation to key financial information such as margins, minimum deal size etc.
- Delivery of business finance services to the South Region business including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, management reporting, business case construction, pricing strategy, governance and support and expense & headcount scrutiny.
