Your Role And Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Manager is a regional business owner – not a traditional sales leader – who reports directly to the EVP International Sales as part of the core international leadership team. The Regional Sales Manager has full end‑to‑end accountability for all commercial activities in their assigned geography, including strategy, customer development, quotation, orders, delivery, invoicing, and cash collection. Operating with entrepreneurial autonomy, the RSM holds the regional P&L;, leads a distributed team of country managers and sales professionals, commercialises the portfolios of three Global Business Lines across their region,



and coordinates with Global Operations for supply chain support. Beyond day‑to‑day sales execution, the RSM serves as ABB Motion’s strategic eyes and ears in the market, actively identifying growth opportunities, market gaps, competitive dynamics, product adaptation needs, and acquisition targets – providing structured, actionable market intelligence that directly informs global product strategy and organisational decisions, rather than simply managing existing business.

The work model for the role is: hybrid.

The role is contributing to the (Motion / NEMA Motors Division) in global markets.

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For
- Regional Business Strategy & Market Development – Define and execute go‑to‑market models, develop 3‑year regional strategies, drive profitable growth, identify whitespace opportunities, and expand market share across new and existing customer segments in the assigned region.
