Technical Support Specialist (Ferrara, Italy) (12 month Contract)

Who you are:

We seek a Technical Support Specialist who diagnoses technical issues and provides support to resolve hardware and software problems for Geotab products and partner products. The role involves varied projects across scope, complexity, and business areas.

What you’ll do:

You will help customers and partners understand and use Geotab’s products and services, diagnose technical issues,



and resolve hardware and software problems with Geotab devices, the MyGeotab™ platform, and partner products.

Key responsibilities include:
- Communicating with customers, partners, and internal teams via phone, email, and chat.
- Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues—including connectivity, installation, and software inquiries.
- Coordinating return/exchange processes with internal departments.
- Delivering product service training to resellers and customers.
- Reporting escalated issues to management and ensuring confidentiality of customer data.
- Supporting global strategic initiatives.

What you’ll bring to this role:
- 1–3 years of customer service/support experience.
- 1–3 years of technical troubleshooting experience.
- Post‑secondary diploma or degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
- Bilingual: fluent in English and Italian.
- Expert Excel skills and proficiency with Google Workspace.
