Job OverviewThe Buyer supports QVC Italy and will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing and merchandising a specific product range in a timely and efficient manner, in order to maximize the company's net profit contribution.
This role is hybrid (onsite in Brugherio (MB) several days per month). This is a full‐time temporary contract – maternity cover.
Responsibilities
- Source, select, and secure a suitable range of products for QVC that fits the target market.
- Negotiate the best possible prices and conditions.
- Work closely with the Planning team to review product performance, and to plan and grow the product range.
- Monitor inventory levels, taking accountability for the return‐to‐supplier process.
- Meet regularly with suppliers to review product performance.

Qualifications
- At least 2–3 years of experience as a home retail buyer.
- A degree in Economics or equivalent; excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Expertise in "home textiles" is highly appreciated.
- Strong negotiation and sourcing skills.
- A proactive mindset,

strong personal accountability and adaptability in a fast‐paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate successfully across teams.
- Fluency in English and Italian.

Salary: 31200,00 € – 39000,00 €
