Role Overview
We are looking for a Space Quality Assurance Engineers with strong knowledge of ECSS-Q standards to support quality and product assurance activities on satellite or spacecraft projects. This role is suited for someone with hands‐on experience in space project QA, technical documentation, process compliance, supplier follow‐up, reviews, audits, and non-conformance management.
The ideal candidate has worked in the space or aerospace industry and understands how ECSS-based quality requirements are applied across engineering, manufacturing, testing,
and delivery.
CONTRACT: Contractor Agreement
COMMITMENT: Full-time (multi-year)
LOCATIONS: ONSITE Friedrichshafen, Germany; Relocation support
NOTES: EU passport needed; English fluency is required; German is a plus.
Responsibilities
Support quality assurance and product assurance activities for satellite or spacecraft projects
Ensure project processes and deliverables comply with ECSS-Q requirements
Review technical documentation, quality records, test documentation, and project deliverables
Support design reviews, manufacturing reviews, test readiness reviews, and acceptance reviews
Monitor non-conformances, corrective actions, deviations, waivers, and quality risks
Participate in internal or supplier audits and follow up on action items
Work with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and project management teams
Support supplier quality activities and review supplier documentation when
