Job Purpose
We are looking for an IT Senior System Specialist to maintain and improve our Guest processes, Onboard platforms and their integrated systems.
He/She will take care of our Onboard platform in Data Configuration, Operational Reporting, Analysis, Troubleshooting and Support for onboard business such as: Onboard Finance, Shorex, Guest, Crew, Safety, Security, Housekeeping, F&B;, SPA, etc.
The Senior System Specialist oversees and maintains production and testing systems; schedules legacy systems operations; monitors output and report distribution, performs a variety of tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility collaborating with Corporate, Managers and other IT Specialists.
Key Accountabilities
Analysis and elicitation of functional and non-functional requirements for Onboard platforms and their integrated systems.
Gives support in planning, managing and delivering Onboard platforms and their integrated systems;
Gives support in defining solutions aligned to business requirements;




Ensure and overseeing all systems setting activities related to new buildings operations;
Supports business for the updating, testing and measurement of the products evolution added to the systems;
Set ups and update the PMS onboard through a steady maintenance interdepartmentally (Guest and Crew Service, Excursion, Spa, Finance, Retail, F&B;, Dining, Safety and Security);
Provides assistance and advice to the on-board departments involved in PMS settings;
Qualifications
Experience in Cruise Industry (focus on Hotel Operations);
At least 3 years’ hands-on experience in similar roles or equivalent experiences with IT Applications for Cruise Lines;
Working knowledges of onboard PMS Systems and Ship Warehouse process (Otalio SPMS, Oracle SPMS, Oracle MMS, Crunchtime or similar);
Oracle, SQL/MySQL database Language skills;
Knowledge of programming languages for operational reporting (e.g., JasperReports)
