Your Mission: Field Systems Administrator / Network Engineer (PGS Enclaves – Sigonella, Italy) Join our elite Navy Air (NAVAIR) Solutions Group as the onsite Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Systems Administrator for the P8 I3B2 Ground Station (PGS) Enclaves at Naval Air Station Sigonella. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring seamless system functionality for one of the Navy's most critical mission platforms.
Responsibilities Be the Backbone of P8 Ground Operations Configure and maintain PGS systems to ensure peak operational performance. Perform Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for ground and select air components—including TACDS, networks, CSP/SSP, and Minotaur. Share operational‐level maintenance responsibilities directly with Navy counterparts. Support Real‐Time Mission Execution Troubleshoot and resolve system issues during pre‐flight, in‐flight, and post‐flight operations. Assist with RSM builds/offloads and maintain interoperability between remote and local mission systems. Provide rapid anomaly escalation and generate JIRA tickets for SME engagement. Enhance System Reliability & Security Execute scheduled, corrective, and emergency maintenance. Conduct monthly security scans on ground‐based systems.
