European Sales & Marketing Director Food Ingredients m/f/d

Location: Northern Italy (onsite)
This is a Business‐to‐Business (B2B) job; please apply only if you have experience in Flavours, Colours, Extracts, dried Fruit and Vegetables and other value‐added Food Ingredients.
Role
The Director of Sales & Marketing develops and directs all sales, marketing and business development activities in Europe.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Developing a sales and marketing plan to achieve set growth targets.
Developing and managing an effective sales and distributor team.
Building and growing sales and profitability in a food ingredient business (e.g. Flavours, Colours, Extracts, Powders).
Closing sales and satisfying customers at senior levels including Directors, VPs and owners/executives.
Operating autonomously in a dynamic environment; highly self‐motivated.
Strong fit with the Company's culture and unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience




Bachelor or Master's degree with preference for sciences or food technology/ingredients and/or MBA.
Minimum 10 years' experience in a B2B sales environment within the food industry.
Fluent in English and Italian; other European languages are an asset.
Successful track record of building and growing sales and profitability in a food ingredient business.
Experience closing sales to senior decision‐makers.
High motivation and ability to operate autonomously.
