About SONECT

SONECT is a European fintech company providing innovative payment and cash services through a regulated cross-border infrastructure. Operating under Sonect UAB Europe's EMI license, we are expanding our presence in Italy and are looking for a Central Point of Contact (CPOC) to act as our official representative for regulatory oversight, governance, and compliance.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary liaison between SONECT, the Bank of Italy, business partners, and internal stakeholders, ensuring that all activities performed in Italy comply with Italian, Lithuanian, and European regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory & Governance
- Act as SONECT's official Central Point of Contact (CPOC) in Italy.
- Represent the company before Italian regulatory authorities and support communications with the Bank of Italy and other competent authorities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Italian, EU, EBA, DORA,



PSD2/PSD3, AML/CFT, and outsourcing regulations.
- Monitor the governance framework for Italian operations and ensure regulatory obligations are fulfilled.
- Support regulatory inspections, audits, and supervisory requests.
- Prepare governance reports for Senior Management and the Board.

Compliance & Risk Oversight
- Monitor operational compliance relating to payment services delivered in Italy.
- Review AML/KYC/KYB controls and escalate regulatory concerns.
- Monitor ICT risks, operational resilience, outsourcing arrangements, and third-party providers.
- Verify adherence to internal Outsourcing Policies, Business Continuity Plans, and ICT Security requirements.
- Participate in annual outsourcing reviews and regulatory audits.

Monitor transaction flows and payment operations.
- Review reconciliation reports and identify operational discrepancies.
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented
