About the Role
We are hiring
Network Support Engineers – Level 1
for a
long-term backfill requirement
supporting our enterprise client, Honeywell.
This is a
freelance/dispatch-based onsite role
. The objective is to build and maintain a qualified pool of technicians who can be deployed quickly whenever backfill requirements arise. Selected engineers may be assigned based on client demand and operational needs.
Selection & Onboarding Process
- Candidates will first be screened and interviewed by the client.
- Upon successful approval,
Honeywell credentials
will be generated.
- Before deployment, the selected technician must complete a
2-day onsite Knowledge Transfer (KT)
with the existing team.
- After successful KT completion, the engineer will be deployed to support the client site.
- This is a
long-term backfill opportunity
, and approved technicians may be engaged for future requirements as they become available.
Key Responsibilities
Functional
- Provide Level 1 support for network-related incidents and service requests.
- Monitor network performance and identify connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and basic routing/switching problems.
Operational / Service Delivery
- Manage and update support tickets within defined SLAs.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and replacement of network devices, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Support VPN connectivity and user access issues.
- Perform onsite troubleshooting and coordinate with remote support teams when required.
Governance & Process
- Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, configurations, and resolutions.
- Follow established IT support standards, processes, and client procedures.
