Technical Project Engineer – Industrial Water Treatment
Location: Home-based - North Italy
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary range: 40.000 - 50.000 EUR per annum
Collective Labour Agreement: CCNL B2 Tecnico di Processo - Chemical Industry

Solenis is currently seeking a Technical Project Engineer to support the European Equipment Sales strategy for the South Europe region. This role is ideal for a technically strong and field-oriented engineer who enjoys managing complex industrial water treatment projects from concept through commissioning.
This is a home-based position in North Italy, with regular travel across the territory.

Key Responsibilities
As Technical Project Engineer, you will play a central role in the successful execution of industrial water treatment projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Engineering team from the early stages of project opportunities, clarifying scope, identifying technical risks, and defining optimal technical solutions to create competitive advantage.
- Conducting or supervising onsite surveys, basic design,



and system conception, ensuring the best balance between CAPEX and OPEX.
- Evaluating technical specifications and purchase order requirements, defining project schedules, execution timelines, and staffing needs.
- Preparing technical specifications and procedures for project execution in collaboration with Engineering, supporting the Procurement team during supplier selection and PO issuance.
- Monitoring work in progress, reviewing project specifications, and coordinating with internal and external Engineering/Service teams.
- Inspecting construction sites to verify compliance with design specifications and correct equipment installation.
- Leading installation, start-up, commissioning activities, and final performance sign-off.
- Providing technical assistance on existing OEM contracts, including troubleshooting and diagnostics, coordinating internal or external resources as needed.
