What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Head of Composite Design, this position is based in Maranello and plays a key role in supporting the design, development, and performance of F1 car components.

You’ll contribute to both departmental and wider organisational objectives, working closely with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver high-performance solutions under demanding timelines.

Composite Design & Development




- Design and develop Formula 1 car components.
- Collaborate in planning and strategy for component development and race introduction.
- Contribute to concept development within the composite design group.
- Drive continuous improvement in component design with a focus on car performance.
- Perform research and development activities to support ongoing performance gains.

Performance & Race Support
- Liaise with the Race Team regarding reliability issues and composite design revisions.
- Support the introduction of new components and design updates.
- Prioritise vehicle performance throughout the design process.

Operational Excellence
- Deliver work to high quality, compliance, and performance standards
- Maintain accountability and professionalism in a fast-paced environment

What You Bring

Essential
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years’ of design experience within a professional motorsports environment.
