A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Buying Professional, you will manage purchasing activities and supplier relationships to ensure the efficient and cost-effective supply of materials and services. You will support sourcing strategies, negotiate with vendors, oversee procurement processes using SAP and digital tools, and collaborate with global teams to improve supplier performance and operational efficiency.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and implement commodity strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials.
- Implement and manage supplier contractual agreements to meet the specific needs of the business whilst ensuring service continuity and risk mitigation.
- Utilize a wide range of negotiation strategy (CAO, E-auction, Global Value Sourcing, Advanced Negotiation Concept, Supplier Day, etc).
- Contribute to implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes, and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g. compliant purchase-to-pay process, procurement guidelines, IT systems).
- Execute supplier management processes (e.g. qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification). Establish proper sourcing and procurement processes and control all procurement resources and activities in the project.
- Use new IT tools in procurement, some of them based on IA.
