Experteer Overview In this role you will support the French entities of Avnet in a fast-paced, international Finance & Accounting environment. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive accurate financial reporting and improve processes, contributing to the group’s global accounting efforts from Milan. You will manage day-to-day operations, VAT/tax compliance, and intercompany activities, shaping how financial data informs business decisions. You will work with SAP and advanced Excel to ensure precise accounting and compliance, while operating with autonomy and a continuous improvement aResponsibilities
Monitor day-to-day financial operations for the French entities
Oversee automated processes for sales, purchases, AR, AP
Handle non-trade accounts payable and prime entries
Cash management, reporting, and payment support
Maintain and review financial records including Fixed Assets and payroll postings
Conduct intercompany and bank reconciliations

Ensure integrity of accounting information and accurate transaction recording
Manage VAT returns and liaison with tax/legal consultants for VAT and taxable income
Interact with auditors to resolve accounting issues
Support process improvements and tool enhancements
Assist on ad hoc projects
Qualifications
Fluent in English, Italian, and French
Minimum 4 years in general and tax accounting
Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and curiosity
Strong problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Advanced knowledge of Excel and SAP
Knowledge of French Gaap and regulations (advantage)
