E-Logic is seeking a qualified Cost Estimator to provide independent construction cost estimating support for planning, design, and construction projects. The selected candidate will develop, review, and analyze cost estimates for new construction, renovation, and facility improvement projects while supporting government project teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide independent, timely, and professional construction cost estimating support for planning, design, renovation, and construction projects.
- Develop, review, reconcile, and provide recommendations on cost estimates for new construction, renovation, repair, and facility improvement projects.
- Prepare Independent Government Estimates (IGEs), planning estimates, detailed quantity take-offs, and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates.
- Analyze contractor cost proposals and assist in determining whether proposed costs are fair, reasonable, and technically supportable.
- Support contract modifications and change orders by preparing, reviewing, and validating construction cost estimates.




- Communicate with suppliers, subcontractors, contractors, and Architect/Engineering (A/E) firms to understand current market conditions, labor rates, material pricing, and cost assumptions.
- Review construction documents, specifications, drawings, and project requirements to develop accurate and comprehensive estimates.
- Provide technical cost estimating expertise to Project Managers and Government stakeholders throughout project execution.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional construction cost estimating experience.
- Thorough knowledge of construction cost estimating principles, practices, methodologies, and industry standards.
- Experience preparing Independent Government Estimates (IGEs), quantity take-offs, and conceptual cost estimates.
- Knowledge of DoD, Department of the Navy (DON), and NAVFAC cost estimating policies, procedures, and criteria.
