Overview Hill International is looking for a Subsea Engineer for one of our oil and gas projects based in Milano.
Qualifications
Engineering Degree
At least 7 years of engineering experience in Oil & Gas Industry
At least 5 years subsea engineering experience
At least 2 similar activities (subsea EPC project follow up)
Excellent spoken and written English and proven ability to write specifications and reports
Responsibilities
Ensure that all necessary technical interfaces with other systems or activities belonging to the Project are considered by the Contractor at all times;
To ensure the overall performance, installability and operability of subsea systems
To assist the preparation of user manual and installation procedure by Contractor and assist installation campaign
Assuring that the design meets Project requirements, applicable standards and engineering best practices, developing COMPANY's know-how in this area
Consistency, quality and cost effectiveness of project design of the subsea production system in compliance with all applicable codes,
COMPANY standards and specifications, Contract, International Standards and Engineering Best Practices
Site Inspection and Interfacing with Contractor on technical and Delivery issues
Ensuring Delivery of the Subsea Components in line with the Project objectives, Technical interfaces and Requirements
Key Activities
Assisting the SPS Lead / Package Manager in the following:
Follow up the detail Engineering performed by the SPS Contractor relevant to Subsea Production Tree systems, subsea tie—in, ROV tools and subsea structures
Reviewing and commenting technical documentation produced by the Contractors (e.g. reports, specifications, procedures, drawings, etc.) ensuring the implementation of the established procedures, applicable codes, COMPANY standards and specification, Contract, International Standards and Engineering Best practices
Resolving ongoing technical queries / issues concerning all aspects of the subsea equipm
