As Head of Controlling Italy, you will lead our national controlling function and act as a strategic partner to the business. Reporting to the Country CFO, you will take on a strategic leadership role with strong business impact, collaborating with international and EMEA stakeholders while driving and shaping business performance, transformation, and supporting strategic growth in a dynamic industrial environment. The role can be based on our site in Zola Predosa (BO) or Casella (GE), but will require regular travel to other Italian sites as needed.
About The Role
In this role, you will drive financial planning, performance monitoring, and decision support across our Italian operations. You will play a key role in ensuring financial transparency, improving profitability, and supporting operational excellence.
What You Will Do
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‐term planning processes
Deliver accurate and insightful financial reporting to local and EMEA leadership
Drive performance analysis, identifying risks and opportunities




Oversee controlling activities across four manufacturing sites
Strengthen cost control, productivity, and profitability
Act as a strategic business partner to Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales
Lead, develop, and inspire a high‐performing controlling team
Ensure compliance with group policies and reporting standards
Support strategic initiatives, investments, and transformation projects
About You
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar
8–10+ years of experience in Controlling / FP&A;, ideally in manufacturing
Proven leadership experience (min. 3–5 years managing teams)
Strong expertise in financial planning & analysis, cost/plant controlling and standard costing, KPI development and performance management and investment evaluation and cash flow management
Experience in multinational environments
Excellent knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills
Strong understanding of IFRS and local GAAP
