Being only 3 years old didn’t stop us from becoming a unicorn. We’re looking for a driven Key Account Manager (KAM) to build lasting relationships with our retail partners in Italy. You’ll manage a portfolio of merchants, identify new growth opportunities, and use data-driven insights to maximize their success.
Strengthen partnerships through sales calls, business reviews, and ongoing support;
Advise merchants on optimizing revenue and marketing using Scalapay's premium products (e.g., Collaborate with the Sales Team to support the growth of our brands. Boost Scalapay adoption by growing merchant collaborations and co-marketing campaigns;
Analyze data to uncover opportunities and create tailored sales presentations;
Develop case studies and share best practices to scale account management efforts;
Experiment with new strategies to drive revenue growth and provide weekly forecasts;
Advocate for your merchants internally to enhance products and services;
Attend market visits, fairs, and events to meet partners face-to-face and stay ahead of industry trends.
Proven sales and negotiation expertise with a knack for growing partnerships;
~ Strong business acumen and ability to upsell/cross-sell;
~ Experience following structured sales processes with KPIs and measurable results;
~ Data-driven, proactive, and organized approach;
~5+ years in account management or business consulting, ideally in e-commerce;
~ Fluent in Italian and English; Become a fundamental part of the Italian team and help the company grow;
Foster a positive and inclusive team culture within the local team, encouraging collaboration, innovation, and a strong sense of ownership.
