R&D Mechanical Engineer

Your role
We are seeking a motivated and skilled R&D; Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the development of innovative solutions within our R&D; department. The ideal candidate has strong technical foundations and market aptitude for problem solving with experience in mechanical design and prototype development.
Main responsibilities
Development of technical drawing packages for assemblies, in compliance with manufacturing flows and production specifications.
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical engineers, industrial designers, and other stakeholders) for product design, prototyping, and testing.
Analysis and identification of underlying principles to optimize design processes and reduce development time.
Assessment of client needs through active listening and critical thinking, translating them into concrete technical solutions.
Main requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience in developing drawing packages for assemblies in line with manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in CAD systems,
with priority given to Autodesk Inventor.
Competence in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools.
Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
Excellent active listening, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
Specific knowledge of vacuum equipment and PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) processes, including related standards and regulations.
Experience in automation and robotics.
Familiarity with other CAD software such as Creo and SolidWorks.
Knowledge of the SAP system and Windchill PLM.
Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
