Position: Project Planning Engineer Company: Milan, Italy Experience Required: Minimum 5 years Position Overview The Project Planning Engineer will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of our EPC projects by developing, managing, and maintaining comprehensive project plans. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of project planning methodologies and tools, particularly within the Oil & Gas and plant engineering sectors.
The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, adhering strictly to departmental procedures and contractual obligations. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project scope, objectives, and contractual requirements. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineering teams, procurement, construction, and other stakeholders to gather all necessary input for schedule development and updates. Identify critical path activities and potential project risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimize schedule delays. Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule, analyze variances, and prepare regular progress reports for project management and relevant stakeholders.
