Plant Controller – Role Overview
The Plant Controller is a key member of the plant leadership team, responsible for driving financial performance and maximizing plant profitability. This role provides critical financial insights, ensures accurate reporting, and supports operational decision‐making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Performance Management




Analyze and forecast manufacturing variances to identify trends and improvement opportunities
Partner with plant management to drive productivity savings aligned with budget commitments
Develop and maintain cost standards for all manufactured products
Budgeting & Forecasting
Lead the preparation and coordination of departmental and plant-wide budgets and forecasts
Oversee the annual capital budget, including financial justification, expenditure tracking, and ROI analysis
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly close activities and reporting deadlinesMaintain accurate records of plant assets, liabilities, and financial transactions in compliance with corporate policies
Support corporate reporting requirements in collaboration with leadership
Inventory & Audit Oversight
Provide financial oversight during physical inventory counts
Assist with internal and external audits to ensure c
