We are looking for a Warehouse Operation Specialist to support daily activites.This role is hands-on and operations-focused, managing inbound, sorting, dispatching, and outbound processes, while maintaining high standards of efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with German operational requirements.The Warehouse Operations Specialist acts as a key link between warehouse staff, delivery partners, third-party service providers, and the Operations Management team.

Responsibilities

1. Monitor and control daily warehouse operations:

a. Inbound parcel receiving and system registration

b. Sorting accuracy, productivity, and damage control

c. Outbound dispatch readiness and cut-off times

2. Track and report key operational KPIs:

a. Inbound / outbound volumes

b. Sorting productivity and error rates

c. Line-haul departure & arrival times

d. Daily backlog and service performance

3. Support the Operations Manager:

a. Identifying operational risks and bottlenecks

b. Implementing process improvements and corrective actions

Coordinate and supervise third-party service providers (warehouse operators, sortation teams, line-haul partners):

a. Service schedules and manpower planning

b. Quality, productivity, and SLA compliance

5. Ensure strict adherence to German operational standards:

a. Workplace safety and basic HSE requirements

b. Process documentation and SOP execution

c. Data accuracy and system discipline

6. Actively support system usage (WMS / TMS / internal tools) and ensure correct data input

7. Participate in pilot projects, process optimization initiatives, and peak-season preparations.

Requirements

1. Education in Logistics and related field is desirable;

2. Proven experience in warehouse operations (Cross Docking) and parcel delivery;

3. Strong attention to detail and structured working style;

4. Good understanding of applicable law and local regulations in third party workforce management;

5. Good analytical skills and data handling capability (Excel, operational reports);

6. Can use Italian and Chinese as working languages;

7. Driving license is not mandatory but considered an advantage due to warehouse location;

8. Willingness to work flexible hours when required (peaks, operational incidents).

Contratto di lavoro: Tempo completo

Retribuzione: €30.000,00 - €42.000,00 all'anno
