Would you like to join us, and move people further? … /p h3Packaging Coordinator - SKF Automotive Business Italy /h3 pYou will manage packaging logistics to support and safeguard smooth operations between our factories and warehouses, between Final Customers and SKF. /p h3What you can expect in the role /h3 ul liBased on the production schedule from the Supply Chain department or orders from the Sales department, you will analyse and interpret demand to quantify the plant’s needs and organize the distribution. /li liAnticipate discrepancies to avoid complaints by checking recorded orders and validating system data. /li liPlace and validate orders of packaging materials in the IT system, including customer portals where applicable. /li liPerform inventories by counting, verifying digital tool figures, monitoring stock levels, and procuring replacement materials when needed. /li liManage invoice allocations, prepare and issue documents, and support accounting-related packaging exchanges with suppliers and customers. /li liRespond to client or group auditors, including preparation of relevant data and documentation. /li liCoordinate stock transfers to supply different locations in the EMEA region.



/li liCoordinate subcontracted return transport of reusable packaging, connecting clients with carriers and redirecting requests when needed. /li liSupervise sorting and quality control of reusable packaging, including pallet pool administration, support technical and quality claims towards suppliers, and provide operational knowledge for related projects. /li liAnticipate discrepancies to avoid complaints: check recorded orders /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liRelevant academic/training background; completed training in the area, or equivalent work experience for the position. /li liHave solid knowledge of inventory management, such as quantities, lead times, and costs. /li liProficiency in MS Office, including advanced Excel. /li liFluency in English, both verbal and written, as the role involves working in an international team. /li /ul h3You will enjoy working here if you have /h3 ul liProficient analytical skills that allow you to interpret demand, manage inventories, and ensure accurate stock levels across multiple sites /li liA collaborative mindset, coordinating smoothly with Supply Chain, Sales, carriers, and project teams to keep EMEA flows efficient and packaging quality under control.
