ph3Job Description /h3 pWhen you join Amazon as an Area/Shift Manager, you’ll gain experience leading a large and diverse team to make sure your area of the business keeps pace with demand. In this hands‑on role, you’ll learn about the complexity of operations at a global business and what it takes to make everything run seamlessly. While you implement your team’s approach to drive productivity, you’ll also work closely with your colleagues to address challenges, which means no two days will be the same. /p pThe applicable collective agreement for this role is Logistics. The position is classified at level 2 or above, depending on the candidate’s skills, competences and experience. /p pThe minimum gross annual base salary for this position is 38,200 EUR in Italy. The base salary listed corresponds to working on a full‑time basis. For part‑time hours the salary will be pro‑rated. Amazon reserves the right to offer a higher salary and/or level, depending on the candidate’s skills, competencies and experience. The package may include a sign‑on payment and a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in the USA. Statutory benefits and those applicable to the relevant CBA will apply, as will company supplementary benefits subject to further terms. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liPromote a culture of safety and wellbeing /li liAnalyse and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and productivity at consistently high levels, ensuring business objectives are met across all shifts /li liSupport and lead a team, handling administrative work while building and strengthening a strong team culture /li liAnalyse performance and suggest process improvements to optimise work and improve customer service /li liCollaborate with other managers to standardise shift processes /li /ul h3A Day in the Life /h3 pYou’ll work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites.



Your main focus will be to maintain safety standards within your team and across your site while monitoring and maintaining process efficiency. Your days will always include prioritising routine team management and daily operational tasks, alongside other tasks such as individual escalations, process improvement work, and wide‑scale operational contingency planning. /p pBeing a key part of the operations team involves working with colleagues in other teams and external partners to keep the operation on track to meet customer demands and targets. This will involve analysing data and performance metrics with leaders in your business area, as well as discussing the operational pros and cons of technical improvements with engineers. /p h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liCompleted university degree before the start date or graduated within the last 24 months /li liAdvanced proficiency in written and verbal English and the local language /li liRelevant experience in performing data analysis /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership /li liExperience in a logistical working environment /li liExperience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment /li /ul pAmazon is an equal‑opportunities employer.
