You will contribute directly to bearly 6G pre‑standard implementations /b, shaping how next‑generation wireless systems are designed, validated, and deployed.
/p pThis role operates in a bmulti‑site international engineering environment /b, at the intersection of bstandards, algorithms, and real‑world systems /b. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign and implement optimized software aligned with 5G L1 algorithms and protocols /li liDevelop and enhance UE and base station emulation /li liContribute to pre‑6G standards, following 3GPP evolution /li liTranslate evolving requirements (3GPP releases, operator acceptance needs, O‑RAN priorities) into clear software designs, test workflows, and reusable components /li liCollaborate with cross‑functional experts (systems, RF, protocol, product, customers/partners) to reproduce field issues, debug complex behaviors, and deliver fixes with strong root‑cause discipline /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liExpertise in 3GPP LTE / NR /li liFocus on L1 protocols and Scheduler alogorithms /li liC / C++ /li liReal‑time programming /li liSoftware development and debugging /li liTechnical communication in English /li liNVIDIA CUDA GPU programming (preferred) /li liExperience with CI/CD, test frameworks, containers, and/or cloud‑based environments (preferred) /li liExperience working in a multi‑site environment (preferred) /li /ul h3Salary Range (Italy) /h3 p€27,230 – €45,380 gross annual /p h3CCNL /h3 pTerziario, Distribuzione e Servizi (CCNL Commercio) /p pWhile posted at a specific level, this role may be filled at a different level based on the selected candidate's experience and qualifications.
