Collaboration, accountability, and a pragmatic approach to problem solving are highly valued. /ph3Description /h3pReporting directly to the Europe Accounting Manager, you will act as the accounting reference point for the Italian entity and support the finance organization in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. /ph3Main responsibilities /h3ulliManage month-end and year-end closing activities /liliPrepare, review and post journal entries, accruals, provisions and adjustments /liliPerform General Ledger reconciliations and balance sheet reviews /liliAnalyze and reconcile Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable balances /liliSupport inventory accounting, cost accounting activities and variance analysis /liliEnsure compliance with Italian accounting principles and statutory requirements /liliSupport VAT, tax reporting activities and interactions with external advisors /liliPrepare periodic financial reports for local and international stakeholders /liliCollaborate with auditors during statutory and group audit processes /liliEnsure compliance with internal control procedures and SOX requirements /liliSupport US GAAP reporting and period-end reporting requirements /liliDrive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting processes /liliPartner with Finance, Operations and local management to improve reporting quality and operational efficiency /liliParticipate in international projects and process harmonization initiatives across Europe /li /ulh3Profile /h3pWe are looking for a finance professional who combines strong technical accounting skills with a proactive and collaborative mindset. /ph3Requirements /h3ulliDegree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or similar disciplines /liliAt least 6 years of experience in General Ledger Accounting or similar accounting roles /liliSolid knowledge of Italian accounting standards, VAT and statutory reporting /liliPrevious experience in multinational or structured industrial environments /liliExperience managing month-end and year-end closing activities independently /liliKnowledge of ERP systems such as SAP; experience with Navision or Oracle will also be considered positively /liliAdvanced Excel skills /liliFluent Italian and English /liliComfortable participating in daily calls and meetings with international stakeholders /li /ulh3Personal Skills /h3ulliOpen-minded and dynamic approach /liliStrong team-player attitude /liliAbility to build effective relationships with managers and business stakeholders /liliAnalytical mindset and attention to detail /liliAbility to work autonomously while maintaining high levels of collaboration /liliPragmatic problem-solving approach /liliStrong organizational and deadline management skills /li /ulh3Compensation Benefits /h3ulliPermanent employment contract /liliCCNL Metalmeccanico Industria /liliGross Annual Salary around €60,000, depending on experience and overall fit /liliHybrid working model: 2 days per week remote working /liliMeal vouchers:
