ppGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features. /p pDirect message the job poster from Gleeds. /p pSite-based professional Project Manager, responsible for customer relationships, coordinating the delivery of data centre construction projects, and verifying that the completed work is properly executed. /p pKindly provide your CV in English. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupporting Business Unit Directors in delivering business objectives. /li liPositively engaging with customers and developing, growing and maintaining customer relationships. /li liAssisting in the preparation, chairing and recording of minutes for project site meetings. /li liAttending and monitoring the general contractor’s technical coordination meetings and escalating any issues arising. /li liAssisting in the preparation of a project execution plan that identifies key processes and the roles and responsibilities of the project team, the contractor and specialist sub‑contractors and suppliers. /li liAssisting in the management of the change management process by liaising with the client’s team, PM team and contractors in clarifying all necessary scope, justification and technical details. /li liManaging information and technical documentation, including document storing, filing and archiving, verification and checking for standards compliance, database maintenance and updates. /li liContributing to the development and regular update of the project risk register, assisting in the management of risk workshops. /li liMonitoring the performance of the consultant team, contractor and vendors. /li liUndertaking regular site walks and inspections. /li liReviewing the general contractor’s construction plan, site logistics plan, health safety plan and quality plan prior to construction start.
/li liParticipating in value engineering exercises and supporting the delivery of related optioneering and/or feasibility studies. /li liChecking the safety policy and processes prepared by the contractor. /li liAssisting in the implementation of a handover plan or other management tools. /li liAdvising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or may arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on Gleeds’ professional indemnity (PI) insurance. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liOpportunities to develop and grow your career /li liEmployee Assistance Programme h3Candidate Profile /h3 ul li5 years of experience in large‑scale construction projects. Experience in data centres or life science projects is a plus. /li liExperience in documentation and information management. /li liClear understanding of legislation impacting on building contracts. /li liExcellent communication skills – both oral and written. /li liMethodical way of thinking and approach to work. /li liExcellent problem‑solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skills. /li liSound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. /li liAbility to work as part of a team. /li liProfessional level of English and Italian. /li liEligible to work in Italy. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liUniversity degree – Engineering, Architecture or similar.
