ppJoin to apply for the bIT Software Developer /b role at bHHLA PLT Italy /b /p pIT Software Developer is responsible for delivering software /IT solutions to the business side of the organization. They design, maintain and implement database management systems, computer applications and operating systems; they also analyze organizational software needs, devise solutions and maintain PC software and hardware systems. /p h3Summary of responsibilities /h3 ul liIntegrate and develop software according with business needs. /li liManaging and maintaining softwares currently in use in the Terminal. /li liMake changes in software programs based on end-user demands. /li liFollow the updates in software systems and update accordingly. /li liMake sure that IT system work without interruption and give technical support to end‑users during the opening hours of the terminal and be available for night/holiday to support when required. /li /ul h3Education Experience /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (prefered). /li li5 years professional experience as IT Software Developer. /li /ul h3Technical Skills Knowledge Required /h3 ul liOperate in one or more object‑oriented languages (Java, Python).
/li liGood knowledge in Relational database management, backend solutions. /li liGood knowledge in MS, Linux, VMware administration tools. /li liGood knowledge of SQL language. /li liGood knowledge in Docker virtualization. /li liPreferred title: knowledge in EDI, Kubernetes, Integration software, ETL, messaging systems (jms, kafka). /li /ul h3Behavioral Competences Required /h3 ul liAbility to work well with others (team building). /li liProblem solving. /li /ul h3Language Requirements /h3 ul liIntermediate spoken English. /li /ul h3Other Requirements /h3 ul liWorkplace: Trieste /li /ul pHHLA PLT Italy is part of HHLA Group, with over 6.400 employees worldwide.
