You’ll be empowered to lead, collaborate, and make a real impact in the lives of our clients. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liEffectively execute strategy on all cases for which you are the responsible attorney, or those assigned to you by the Managing Attorney, from inception through settlement and closure. /li liAssume responsibility for the competent provision of mediation and legal services, including drafting settlement agreements, prenuptial agreements, client memos, and status updates. /li liWork with other members of the legal team to develop case strategy and provide direction to paralegals and legal assistants. /li liServe as the principal contact between the firm and clients on assigned cases, advising them on their legal rights, obligations, and best interests. /li liGather and organize financial information and create financial reports. /li liAnalyze case-specific issues and documentation,
and conduct legal and other research as needed. /li liMove cases through the process in accordance with goals and established milestones. /li liFoster and maintain excellent rapport with clients through consistent communication, providing information on the firm’s behalf and responding to their questions. /li liTrack and record time daily on client matters and administrative tasks. /li liPrepare memoranda and reports to ensure accurate documentation of the file. /li liDemonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills to work effectively with staff and clients at all levels. /li liEnsure all CLEs are completed prior to license renewal deadlines and that bar license remains in good standing. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liJD from an accredited law school. /li liAdmitted and in good standing with the NY State Bar. /li li3-7 years of experience in family law. /li liMediation certification and strong mediation experience. /li liCollaborative Divorce certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire). /li liTrust and Estates experience (2–3 years) is a plus. /li /ul h3Compensation /h3 p$130,000–$175,000 base salary plus performance bonuses. /p h3We Offer /h3 ul liCompetitive salary commensurate with experience. /li liPerformance-based bonuses. /li liProfit sharing and 401(k) after 6 months. /li liSupportive and collaborative work environment. /li liOpportunities for professional development and advancement. /li liEmployer-paid health insurance with employee cost-sharing. /li liPTO and holiday pay. /li /ul pThe firm is an Equal Opportunity Employer, a drug-free workplace, and complies with ADA regulations as applicable. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
