ph3bJob Description Summary: /b /h3pThe Electrical Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and longevity of electrical infrastructure including Balance of Plant, wind farms and PV installations across Nadara’s Italian fleet. This role involves ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of electrical systems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to various projects from inception through to completion. /ph3bJob Description: /b /h3pbuKey Responsibilities: /u /b /pulliDesign and Development: Lead or support the design and specification of new electrical systems or upgrades to existing systems across the fleet, ensuring alignment with reliability and safety standards. /liliCollaborate with engineering and project teams during the development phase of new assets or retrofits to integrate reliability principles from the outset. /liliEvaluate and recommend new technologies, components, or systems that enhance electrical performance and reduce lifecycle costs. /liliParticipate in the standardization of electrical designs and components across the fleet to streamline maintenance and improve spare parts management. /liliEnsure all designs comply with relevant Italian and international electrical codes, fleet operational requirements, and Nadara’s engineering standards. /liliSupport the development of technical documentation, including electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system specifications. /li /ulpb2. Project Management and Implementation: /b /pulliManage and oversee electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards. /liliCoordinate with other internal departments, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. /liliPerform site inspections and supervise the installation and testing of electrical systems. /liliManage contacts and coordinate preventive and reactive maintenance activities with electrical suppliers. /li /ulpb3. Testing and Troubleshooting: /b /pulliConduct tests and inspections to ensure the functionality and safety of electrical systems. /liliCommission electrical systems and troubleshoot any issues that arise during testing. /liliDevelop and implement maintenance and testing procedures. /liliAnalyse test results to detect anomalies, degradation, or early signs of failure, and recommend corrective actions. /liliLead troubleshooting efforts for complex electrical issues,
coordinating with maintenance teams to ensure timely resolution and minimal operational disruption. /liliUtilize advanced testing tools and techniques such as insulation resistance testing, thermographic imaging, and power quality analysis. /liliDocument findings, root causes, and repair actions to support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across the fleet. /li /ulpb4. Compliance and Documentation: /b /pulliEnsure all electrical systems and maintenance activities comply with relevant Italian and EU regulations, industry standards, and Nadara’s internal policies. /liliMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including inspection reports, test results, maintenance records, and engineering drawings. /liliSupport audits and regulatory inspections by providing required technical documentation and evidence of compliance. /liliDevelop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and reliability guidelines to reflect best practices and regulatory changes. /liliPromote a culture of compliance and accountability across the fleet by reinforcing adherence to safety and quality standards. /liliManage the institutional relationship with the DSOs the TSO (Terna) and the electrical regulator (ARERA). /li /ulpb5.
