PpRINA is currently recruiting for a bSenior Pipeline Engineer /b to join its office in bFano, Genoa or Rome, Italy /b within the bPlant Engineering /b Division. /ph3Mission /h3pThe Senior Pipeline Engineer leads technical engineering activities for pipeline design, including design appraisal and certification of new and existing pipelines. This role ensures compliance with project requirements, manages project interfaces, and supervises information flow while maintaining and developing technical skills, expertise, knowledge, procedures, and tools for proposals and project execution. The Senior Engineer also focuses on capitalizing on project experience to improve and harmonize work methodologies. /ppKnolewdge and experiences in material and cathodic protection design, pre commissioning activities, installation and construction, piping design, etc. will be considered a plus. /ph3Pipeline Design, Engineering Studies and Analyses /h3ulliCoordinate all activities related to pipeline design, including existing and new projects. /liliManage all internal and external project interfaces to ensure timely provision of necessary input and information to meet project execution schedules. /liliLead the engineering team in developing strategies for system configuration tasks and component design, ensuring progress and satisfactory task completion within project constraints. /li /ulh3Construction Support /h3ulliOversee and execute all technical activities within the discipline. /liliProvide technical support and direction to solve engineering issues. /liliIdentify project and contract hot spots, criticalities, and activity priorities. /liliOptimize technical engineering processes to achieve reduced time and costs. /li /ulh3Resource Management /h3ulliCoordinate resources assigned to the discipline.



/liliSupervise and coordinate all engineering, design, and drafting activities. /liliEnsure the proper management of interfaces with other disciplines and construction/installation activities, driving the team toward optimized cost-effective solutions. /li /ulh3Project Oversight /h3ulliControl project schedules and ensure adherence to timelines. /liliSupervise and coordinate the review and independent analysis of pipelines during third-party engineering activities. /liliOversee requisitioning and technical bid evaluations. /li /ulh3Development and Reporting /h3ulliDevelop personnel skills and flexibility through work assignments, responsibilities, seminars, and courses. /liliEnsure the capitalization of project experience to improve work methodologies. /liliReport to the Pipeline Principal Engineer. /li /ulh3Innovation and Optimization /h3ulliExplore new technologies and methodologies to optimize pipeline design and construction processes. /li /ulh3Regulatory Compliance /h3ulliEnsure that pipeline design comply with local,state and federal regulations, as well as industry standards and codes. /li /ulh3Education /h3pBachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering /ph3Qualifications /h3ulliExtensive experience (8+ years) in pipeline engineering, with a strong background in design and analysis. /liliProven track record of managing engineering teams and projects.
