Master Tailor / Made-to-Measure Specialist – Luxury Fashion
Location: Milan, Italy
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: €50,000–€60,000 + Bonus An internationally renowned luxury fashion house is seeking an experienced Master Tailor / Made-to-Measure Specialist to join its Milan flagship boutique. This is a unique opportunity for a highly skilled tailoring professional with a passion for luxury craftsmanship and exceptional client service.
Based in Milan, you will also travel across the retail network to support boutiques with bespoke tailoring, alterations and made-to-measure services, ensuring an outstanding experience for every client.
The Role
As a Master Tailor, you will play a key role in delivering an elevated luxury experience by providing expert tailoring advice, garment customisation and impeccable craftsmanship. You will work closely with boutique teams to ensure every client receives a personalised service while acting as an ambassador for the brand's heritage, quality and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver an exceptional client experience through expert tailoring consultations and garment customisation.
Provide professional advice on alterations, made-to-measure services and garment fit.
Build long-lasting relationships with clients through outstanding service and personalised recommendations.
Collaborate closely with boutique teams to support commercial objectives and maximise client satisfaction.
Travel across the retail network to provide tailoring expertise and support where required.
Ensure all tailoring work reflects the highest standards of luxury craftsmanship.
Support visual merchandising, stock management and boutique operations when needed.
Contribute to achieving individual and store performance targets.
Maintain impeccable personal presentation in line with luxury retail standards.
About You
Previous experience as a Master Tailor, Made-to-Measure Specialist or Senior Tailor within the luxury fashion industry.
Strong technical expertise in garment alterations, fitting and tailoring.
Passion for luxury fashion, craftsmanship and exceptional client service.
Commercially minded with the ability to build trust and develop long-term client relationships.
Confident working with an international and high-net-worth clientele.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexible and willing to travel regularly across the retail network.
Fluent English is essential. Italian is highly advantageous.
