**## Robotics Software Platform Engineer/Staff Software Engineer
- Arduino, Turin, ItalyTurin, Torino, ItalyWe are looking for a talented Robotics Software Platform Engineer to design and evolve the software stack, system utilities, and developer frameworks that power Arduino’s high-performance Linux platforms.

* BS/MS in Computer Science, Robotics, or other technical related fields.
* 5+ years of software development work experience.
* Proficiency in Python, with a track record of building libraries, SDKs, or software frameworks.
* Strong understanding of Robotics middleware,
specifically experience with ROS or ROS2 architectures.
* Experience with Containerization (Docker) and orchestration within Linux-based systems.
* High motivation and interest in pushing the boundaries of current technologies.
* A "Developer Experience" mindset—you enjoy making complex systems easy for others to use.
* Experience with C++ for performance-critical middleware components.
* Experience with distributed messaging protocols and distributed systems.
* Knowledge of MPU/MCU communication patterns, understanding how to architect software that interacts with real-time firmware subsystems.
* Knowledge of Arduino or similar electronics.
* Experience in CI/CD pipelines for embedded software and automated hardware testing.
