About the Role
As Segment Manager for our Power, you will have an high‑impact role, driving the strategy, supporting customer development, and collaborating closely with global and cross‑regional stakeholders.
You will serve as the regional expert for your segment—translating customer needs into innovative solutions, guiding investments, and enabling the sales organization to win and execute key opportunities.
This role includes managing an international team and offers broad influence, visibility, and the opportunity to shape the direction of the business.
What You do:
Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
- Develop and execute the Regional Trade Strategy in alignment with the Global Segment Manager
- As Team Leader you will support your team in Identify and prioritize key applications, key projects, and key customers to accelerate growth
- Lead major regional opportunities by acting as or collaborating with the Capture Team Leader
Customer & Market Insight
- Stay close to selected key customers to understand their needs and translate them into hardware, software, and service requirements
- Build and maintain a deep understanding of the market, applications, competitive landscape, and trends
- Follow on the field, where required, the focus projects with strategic clients
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work hand‑in‑hand with Sales to support customer development, define standards, and secure new business
- Partner closely with HUB, Market Organizations, and Global teams—sharing knowledge, challenging constructively, and driving joint initiatives
Operational Excellence
- Track and follow up on all initiatives and commitments, ensuring timely and successful completion
- Monitor business performance indicators and take corrective action when needed
Competence & Community Building
- Drive competence development across the region for the segment
- Act as an ambassador and storyteller—bringing passion, clarity, and alignment to internal and external stakeholders
What You Bring
- Master’s degree in engineering or economics
- A previous and significant experience and knowledge within the power segment, a previous role in sales will be considered as a plus
- Proven ability to define and drive strategy
- Experience working with key customers and translating their needs into actionable business requirements
- Strong conceptual thinking, analytical ability, and business acumen
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to collaborate in a global environment and deliver through influence
- Proficiency with relevant IT systems and digital tools
