Communication strategies are led by founder Margherita Ruffo di Calabria and a dedicated digital team, who curate everything from PR and press to digital strategies and events.
Role Description The Public Relations and Communications Intern role is an on-site internship based in Milan. The intern will support day-to-day PR activities, including drafting press materials, assisting with media lists, and monitoring press coverage for clients.
Responsibilities include helping coordinate events, partnerships, and influencer collaborations, as well as contributing to digital communication initiatives and social media content. The intern will assist in preparing reports, presentations, and communication assets that reflect each brand's unique message and strategy.
The role involves close collaboration with the team, participation in brainstorming sessions, and proactive support in maintaining strong relationships with media, influencers, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear press materials, emails, and social content.
- Interest in public relations, communications, and digital media, preferably supported by relevant coursework or prior internship experience.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and support event coordination.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, demonstrate initiative, and maintain professional relationships with external partners.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, influencer marketing, and basic digital tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, presentation software); experience with media monitoring or PR tools is a plus.
- Attention to detail, creativity in storytelling, and an interest in fashion, lifestyle, or luxury brands are highly beneficial.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Media, or a related field.
- Professional proficiency in English; proficiency in Italian is an advantage for local media and client communication.
