Design limited enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of systems software Analyze designs and determine coding, programming, and integration activities based on objectives and project guidelines Execute and write portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation Identify and debug code issues and suggest changes or improvements Participate in project teams with software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners Develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for assigned systems portions or subsystems Collaborate and communicate on software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolutionRequirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent Typically 2–4 years of experience Experience designing and developing backend or distributed software systems Fluent in English and Italian Strong knowledge of backend software development languages Solid experience with Linux operating systems and networking fundamentals Good understanding of IP networking, including major Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols Experience with software development best practices, Git, and issue-tracking platforms Experience with software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting methodologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred: experience with 4G/LTE and 5G Core Networks Preferred:
