About the Company
ISMETT is a multi-organ transplant and highly specialized center, established through an international non-profit public-private partnership between the Region of Sicily, the Ri.MED Foundation, and UPMC (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center), which manages the center.
The Italian
Ministry of Health has recognized ISMETT as a Scientific Institute for Research, Hospitalization and Healthcare (IRCCS) in the discipline of "Care and research of end-stage organ failure". The Institute is one of the few in Italy that has held Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation since 2009 and one of the 6 Italian hospitals certified at Stage 6 EMRAM, HIMSS.

Position
Our Institution offers the opportunity to perform a short-term observational training experience designed to observe ISMETT's activities in the medical-healthcare or managerial-administrative areas, in order to acquire a general overview of its organizational model, clinical specialties, and services provided.
Observers may attend ISMETT for a maximum of 5 working days, not necessarily consecutive, and are not permitted to perform any hands-on activities.

Other information In accordance with Legislative Decree 198/2006, this application is open to individuals of any gender orientation or expression, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity, religious belief, and physical ability.
