Your impact

Jacobs is seeking a
Permitting Specialist
to join our dynamic environmental team in Italy, contributing to a portfolio of impactful and innovative projects at both local and international levels.

At Jacobs, you’ll have the opportunity to build and refine your specialist expertise through a combination of structured training programs and close collaboration with a diverse network of professionals, including engineers, geologists, and chemists, within a truly global and inclusive environment.

In this role, you’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team of project managers, auditors, scientists, engineers, and planners. Through ongoing collaboration and communication, you will play a key role in delivering successful outcomes for our clients.



Your responsibilities will include
- Contribute to the development of environmental projects across all stages of the project lifecycle, leveraging your expertise to add value and drive high-quality outcomes
- Provide technical support to the Milan team across a range of environmental services, including permitting and planning, Environmental and Social Impact Assessments, due diligence reviews, and compliance audits
- Support initiatives related to energy transition and climate-focused projects
- Ensure adherence to company standards and procedures in quality, environmental management, sustainability, and health & safety
- Actively contribute to and promote key company values, including technical excellence, innovation, sustainability, health and safety, and inclusion and diversity
- Approach assigned tasks with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
