YellowSquare is looking for a Night Porter – Receptionist

YellowSquare is looking for a reliable, professional, and proactive Night Porter – Receptionist for our Milan hostel. This role is the heartbeat of our nights: you’ll be the go-to person for our guests when the sun goes down, balancing administrative precision with a watchful eye on the hostel’s safety.

What you’ll do:
- Dealing with bookings and managing the front desk during the night shift;
- Completing smooth Check-in and Check-out procedures;
- Preparing bills, taking payments, and ensuring financial accuracy;
- Patrol and secure hallways, common areas, and entrances to maintain a safe environment;
- Handling guest complaints or technical problems with a problem-solving mindset;
- Acting as the first point of contact for any emergencies during the night.

What you’ll bring:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role (hospitality or front desk);
- Excellence in customer service:



you know how to make a guest feel at home;
- Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced or unexpected situation;
- High proficiency in spoken and written English (any other language is a big plus);
- Flexibility with night shifts and working hours;
- A true team spirit and the ability to collaborate across departments.

What we offer:
- Salary & Contract: CCNL Turismo (Level 3), Part-Time (16 hours/week). The compensation is pro-rated based on a full-time gross annual salary (RAL) of €25,1k;
